Disadvantages of a luxury hot tub
While the advantages of our luxury hot tubs clearly prevail, there are also some disadvantages.
- Maintenance: Our hot tubs require regular maintenance to keep the water clear and safe. Adding a filter, which makes the hot tub extra luxurious, does make this a lot easier. That way you only have to change the water once every three months. There is always maintenance required on the filter, however, as well as the addition of water conditioners.
- Cost: The purchase cost of our luxury hot tubs, is higher than other providers. However, this is a reflection of our unparalleled quality and craftsmanship. With us, you are buying a product of the highest possible quality. This is reflected in the service we offer. This investment in your well-being offers unparalleled value that translates into years of comfort and relaxation.
- Space requirements: A luxury hot tub requires the right space in the garden. This can be seen as an opportunity to transform the outdoor space into an exclusive retreat that is not only functional, but also increases the aesthetic value of your property.
What additional options does a luxury hot tub have?
Standard our hot tubs come with a Welstove Medium hot tub heater, thermo wood surround, high quality hot tub with barrier coating and Gardena drain. Because we make all our hot tubs entirely in-house in our production facility in the Netherlands, you have the choice to make the hot tub as luxurious as you wish.
You can heat the hot tub differently, namely with more powerful heaters, electric heaters, biodiesel or even a combination of these. You make the hot tub extra luxurious with options from the well-known brand Babloa. Such as a jet system, bubble system and/or underwater lighting. Complete the hot tub with our filter system and matching hot tub accessories such as a step or insulating hot tub lid.
Types of luxury hot tubs
You have different types of hot tubs on the market. Think of hot tubs with external heaters, internal hot tub heaters or integrated ones. You can also find various shapes like square, round, angular and or oval and there are always types that use different materials. Think plastic hot tubs, hybrid hot tubs, electric hot tubs and other materials such as acrylic and ldpe.
The luxury hot tubs we offer are all made of the same materials. We only work with A-quality materials. For example, the hot tub tub shell is constructed of several layers of fiberglass-reinforced plastic and is finished with a number of high-quality coatings such as a barrier coating. For the wooden finish, we use FSC-approved thermo wood with a lifespan of about 15 to 25 years.
In terms of types, our hot tubs differ in shape and seat. For example, we have traditional straight seats as well as ergonomically shaped seats. In terms of shapes, we have angular, round, square and oval hot tubs. This way there is always a luxury hot tub type that suits you and your needs.
How long does it take to heat a luxury hot tub?
A hot tub with a good wood stove and the right firewood is ready to use within 2 hours on average, provided you use the right firing technique. We always recommend the efficient Swiss heating method, which is not only fast, but also produces minimal smoke. You can find more about this firing method here.
Alternatively, a hot tub can be heated electrically, which heats about 1.5 to 2 degrees per hour. Or with biodiesel, which takes about 2.5 hours. Each of these methods has its own advantages, depending on your preferences and situation.
