Ducktub hot tubs viewWhen you're looking for a hot tub with hot tub heater you soon find out that there are three types of hot tub heaters available. Even though you can only find an external hot tub heater with us, you also have integrated and internal hot tub heaters.
At Welvaere you will find three different external hot tub heaters that ensure that the water in the hot tub gets wonderfully warm. The Welstove Medium, Welstove Large and the Welstove Pro. All three are beautiful and user-friendly hot tub heaters. We give you the opportunity to choose the heater that you like best or that fits your budget.
The stove is attached to the hot tub with a heat-resistant and very sturdy hose and some hose clamps. Attached to the stove is a two-meter long chimney module that guides the smoke out of the stove.
The Welstove Medium comes standard with every hot tub. The large door makes this heater easy to use and allows you to light a large fire in it. This hot tub heater heats the water in the hot tub with about 2 to 2.5 hours on average. A small disadvantage to this type of stove is that you cannot easily leave the door ajar and there is no ash pan.
The Welstove Pro is a unique design stove. The heater floats on the hot tub and has a large glass pane allowing you to see the fire outside the hot tub. With the same warm-up time as the Welstove Large and a fine way to use it, this is truly a topper for heating the water in the hot tub.
The operation of our hot tub heaters is based on the efficient principle of natural circulation. When you stoke the fire in the fire compartment of the hot tub heater, the water heats up and circulates through the hot tub, without the need for electricity. This system, in which the hot tub heater is directly connected to the hot tub via two hoses, ensures even distribution of heat.
The hot tub stove consists of two main parts: a compartment for the fire and a reservoir connected to the hot tub. Once the fire burns, the water heats up in the lower part of the stove and then rises naturally to the hot tub through the upper hose. This process not only ensures constant temperature and even hot tub heating, but also contributes to overall comfort and relaxation.
The cost of a hot tub heater varies depending on the material used and the type of heater. At Welvaere , we offer hot tub heaters made of stainless steel 304 and stainless steel 316. In addition, there are also aluminum hot tub heaters available, which are generally more economical than stainless steel 316 heaters.
At Welvaere we start with the basic stove, the Welstove Medium, for which we do not charge extra. From this model, you can upgrade to the Welstove Large or the Welstove Pro. The latter is the most expensive in terms of price and also offers more aesthetic appeal. For exact upgrade prices, you can easily request a quote through our configurator.
The heating time of a hot tub is affected by several factors. We list them for you here:
Our smallest hot tub, which holds 800 liters of water, typically reaches a comfortable temperature within two hours, while our largest hot tub, with a capacity of 1,700 liters, takes about three hours to become wonderfully warm.
Installing a hot tub heater with us is so easy that you can also do it yourself with the included video instructions. Self-installation is done when you choose the delivery option with curbside delivery. If you choose full delivery by one of our employees, we will install the hot tub heater for you.

When you fire a hot tub, there is no electricity involved. Heating the water is done through natural circulation. The heater is always connected to the hot tub by two hoses.
The hot tub heater consists of two parts. A compartment where you start a fire and a part connected to the hot tub that holds water. By starting a fire, the water in the stove heats up and goes back into the hot tub through the upper hose. All through natural circulation as heat naturally migrates upward.
Our Ducktubs are made for the whole family to relax. Lean back, stretch your legs and enjoy deliciously warm steaming water. This is how you create moments to remember.
Bathing, fresh outdoor air and wellness will do you good, we promise! With a hot tub from Welvaere , you're guaranteed comfort, simplicity a masterful warm-up time. We make every Ducktub completely to your specifications.
Start firing only when the hot tub is filled, or when the water is about 10 cm below the rim. This is because if you don't do this, the heater will not be able to release its heat and will break down.
The best way to fire your stove is the Swiss way. The Swiss way provides the most efficient heat and burns the longest. To fire the hot tub, it is important that you use good firewood that is always raw. If you have an insulating cover, it is convenient to leave it on the hot tub. That way the water does not lose its heat right away.
