The outdoor sauna construction kits are fully prepared. In this way, you can easily build an outdoor sauna yourself. You receive a so-called prefabricated construction kit of the sauna. All materials and parts are completely customized. Because the package is ready to use, the sauna is very easy to install. With the clear manual you put the sauna together in 1 or 2 days.
Viewing self-built saunas
At Welvaere you have the option of choosing a self-assembly sauna package. All our barrel saunas are delivered as standard. Building your own Tønsauna is a job that will take some time. It is necessary to be a bit handy.
You can also always choose to have the sauna built by our carpenters. This is recommended if you secretly have two left hands. Welvaere has several 'sauna teams' that drive through the Netherlands every day to make people happy with a sauna in the garden. The advantage of this is that you only take care of a good foundation, the space and a nice cup of coffee. In the evening you can already relax!
When you choose a self-built outdoor sauna, you pay no build-up costs. So you save up to 1,000 euros compared to when you choose to have us deliver an assembled sauna or construction in the garden.
Building your own outdoor sauna, it's a big job. But if you are handy and do not possess two left hands, it is certainly doable. The manual of our self-built outdoor sauna explains step by step how to proceed.
It is important that you are well prepared and can get started right away when the self-assembly kit is delivered. For example, it is important to ensure a good, level surface. You can find all the information about this in our help section.
It is recommended that two people build the outdoor sauna by themselves. It will take you a day or two.

Stopping by Welvaere in Nijkerk is always a treat - at least if you like nice conversation and good coffee. Tea is also allowed, or cola, or water, whatever you feel like. We are the designers and makers of our products and therefore we know them through and through. At Welvaere you will find several production halls and factories where our products take shape. In Nijkerk you will find the production hall for our Ducktub hot tubs and in Putten you will find our factory for the Tønsaunas. On average about 5 to 7 saunas per week are made in our Tønsauna factory and 5 are built in the garden.
