Certificates and awards

Wood is one of our most widely used products. And because forests are perhaps the most precious asset for humans and animals, we choose to work with wood that has this seal of approval. By choosing FSC products, we give the forest owner the means to manage the forest sustainably. This also means that forest cannot be converted into areas for palm oil, soy or cattle ranching.

In 2022, Welvaere was part of NLGroeit's 250 fastest-growing companies. And not only Welvaere in the Netherlands has such an award. Also Lingalaid/ Welvaere Estonia. In fact, it received a Gazelle award.

For our wood-fired hot tubs, we have the ABCAT Hottub. The hot tub wood smoke filter ensures that harmful substances are post-combusted. A simple description of how the ABCAT® HOTTUB works is: what does not burn in the stove, gets a second chance to burn in the filter. This wood smoke filter has the CE certificate and is Certified by MPA NRW in Germany on safety and quality.

For our saunas we work with HUUM brand electric and wood-fired heaters. HUUM has several certificates and awards for their products. The HUUM wood stove HIVE Heat meets one of the world's strictest German BimSchV II environmental standards for wood stoves. Several products have also won the Red Dot design award.

All of our wood-fired hot tub heaters such as the Welstove Medium, Welstove Large and Welstove Pro have the CE mark. The CE mark indicates that the products meet all EU requirements in terms of safety, health and environmental protection.

Our hot tub tubs are produced in Estonia at our own facility there. Every tub gets a Barier coating for extra protection, and every tub has its own quality check. And when the hot tubs are produced here in Nijkerk, they are also checked for function.
