Stopping by Welvaere in Nijkerk is always a treat - at least if you like nice conversation and good coffee. Tea is also allowed, or cola, or water, whatever you feel like. And the conversation is not only fun, it's also expert. Because our advisors Kevin, Sven, Bart & Joppe know everything about our products.

And would you like to test sit or light the stove yourself? That's no problem either. That's good, because when you buy a hot tub, sauna or spa, of course you want to know where you stand. After all, you want to enjoy it for years, decades to come. 

We are the designers and creators of our products and therefore we know them through and through. At Welvaere you will find several production halls and factories where our products take shape. In Nijkerk you will find the production hall for our Ducktub hot tubs and in Putten you will find our factory for the Tønsaunas.

On average, about 5 to 7 saunas a week are made in our Tønsauna factory and 5 are built in the garden. This is in fact how we usually do it; the sauna comes rolling out of production as a package and then a team of sauna builders builds it in the garden.

Not for nothing do 95% of our customers choose this option; construction in your own garden. In the morning, a team of sauna builders comes to your garden to build the sauna in the desired location.

Unique in the Netherlands and Belgium is that we build the sauna entirely in your garden, if you choose that option. We have several teams that come to build the sauna in the Netherlands and Belgium. Perfect, because this way we take a lot of work off your hands.

You can also choose to roll up your sleeves and build the sauna yourself. For this, however, it is important that you are handy and technically inclined.

We consciously choose to work with high-quality materials. Because the saunas are made entirely of wood, we have chosen a type of wood that will last a very long time; thermo wood. This type of wood lasts about 15 to 20 years and has the same properties as the well-known Red Cedar. It is best to treat this wood so that it retains its beautiful brown tint. 

The benches and the floor inside the sauna are from Ayous and do not get hot so you can sit on them quietly. Also for the other components we have chosen high-quality brands such as heaters from Harvia and HUUM.
