Who is a plastic hot tub suitable for?
Are you someone who loves to relax in your own garden, regardless of the season? Then a plastic hot tub is really for you. Ideal for families who want to relax together, couples who want a romantic evening under the stars, or even the solo enjoyers who want to cool off or warm up after a long day at work.
Why choose a plastic hot tub?
There are various materials for plastic hot tubs, such as HDPE or LDPE - the same materials used for garbage cans - or acrylic. These materials are relatively "soft" and therefore less robust compared to what we use for our hot tubs. At Welvaere we choose tubs made of plastic reinforced with fiberglass. These are constructed from multiple layers and finished with special coatings, including a Barrier coat, that make them exceptionally strong and durable.
If you choose a plastic hot tub from Welvaere, then you are going for durability and top quality. Our hot tubs are made of multiple layers of fiberglass-reinforced plastic, just like sailboats that withstand the fiercest storms at sea, so they are indestructible. Plus, maintenance is a breeze; a soft cloth and some mild detergent are all you need to keep your hot tub sparkling!
The disadvantages of a plastic hot tub
Although the advantages speak for themselves, a plastic hot tub also has some disadvantages. Because an inner tub is used, the hot tub feels less natural than a wooden one. In addition, a plastic hot tub is often more expensive to purchase. However, this initial investment is quickly recouped in convenience and longevity. Because; a plastic hot tub lasts at least 20 years.
