Hot tub temperature in summer

When it gets warmer outside, there is nothing better than a refreshing dip and a cool drink. The last thing you might imagine is stepping into a 40-degree hot tub or whirlpool. That's why it's best to heat your hot tub to a temperature of 37 degrees during the hot summer months.

Because our body temperature is around 37 degrees, we find anything lower than this temperature cold. When you want to cool off during summer, you can also just step into your hot tub or hot tub of 37 degrees or warmer, when you step out of it you experience the environment as cool.

So at a temperature of 37 degrees we are talking about a pleasant temperature for summer. If you really want to cool down, you can choose not to fire up the hot tub and use the hot tub as a "cool tub" a lovely cold hot tub to really cool down in. If you want to sit in the cooltub longer make sure the temperature is around 30 degrees, that way you cool down nicely, but you can still enjoy it longer.

When you get out of the tub, the difference in temperature is so great that your body starts to warm up again and the sweat glands start working immediately. So it may be that after a wonderful evening in the cool hot tub you are still just a little warmer than when you entered it, but everyone will experience this differently.

Hot tub in winter

A lovely cool evening it freezes slightly, the most beautiful starry sky and a lovely warm water around you. On such evenings, a wood-fired hot tub is probably the best place to relax. When there is a small layer of snow outside it becomes even more special! In winter, it is best to heat the water of your hot tub or hot tub between 39 and 40 degrees. When the water is above 40 degrees, it can already cause minor burns.

The hot tub - sauna combination‍

When using a sauna, cooling and heating is very important. A hot tub is also excellent for this purpose. In fact, the hot tub can also function perfectly as a plunge pool. The advantage of this is that the body cools down relatively quickly. When using a hot tub as an immersion bath, the water should have a temperature between 10 and 15 degrees.

After cooling down in the hot tub, you can heat the water to rest yourself after the sauna bath and warm up as well. In this way, in your own wellness paradise, you use the hot tub in two different ways!
