Having the hot tub in your yard doesn't mean you never have to look after it. Winter, for example, is a season when the hot tub needs a little more attention. Here's what you need to consider during the seasons!

Four seasons, every season is different and every season you have different weather conditions. And the latter have an effect on your hot tub. Winter is the season where you need to pay the most attention to your hot tub. Here we would like to tell you why and what to look out for during the winter.
The hot tub can withstand light freezing, there can even be a small layer of ice in the tub. The tub of the Hottubs are made of fiberglass reinforced plastic will also not shrink or expand with temperature changes. Unfortunately, this does not apply to the heaters.

The change of seasons is a good time to give the hot tub a major overhaul. Or at least give it a good overhaul. Think about the filter, the wooden surround and a good cleaning of the tub. When you do that maintenance right, you'll enjoy your own hot tub for years to come!

The only thing that is really important during the winter season is the heater. This is because it can freeze to pieces. For this, there are three options you can do. Drain the hot tub and stove completely, fire up the stove so the water doesn't get below freezing, and disconnect the stove from the hot tub and drain it separately.

And that makes sense. water can be a bubbling place for mold, bacteria and other filth. That's not what we want. We want clean and fresh hot tub water. Preferably water that will last a while, too. Because changing the water in the hot tub every weekend is not only a waste. It also creates a barrier when you want to get into the hot tub. When we talk about water maintenance, there are a number of practical and important things you can do.
