The beer spa features hot tubs, saunas and a plunge pool at Welvaere. There are also luxurious showers and massage chairs. So the wellness experience is definitely in order. What makes it extra special are the beer ingredients that are mixed into the water of the hot tub. And what completes it all is the beer tap that stands next to the hot tubs. As you relax in the hot tub, you can tap unlimited Othmar beers, brewed just a few feet away from the spa. It sounds like a wonderful experience, and that's something guests confirm: "The reaction from guests, that's just gigantically awesome."

Othmar's unique situation

The Othmar Bierspa opened its doors in 2022, making it the first beer spa in the Netherlands. An exceptional project, which calls for exceptional products. "We do of course have a pretty unique situation, so the hot tubs are also all adapted to our wishes and requirements, that was thought through perfectly by Welvaere." 

The Othmar Bierspa features three private rooms, each with 2-3 hot tubs and its own sauna. To realize all this, the water pipes and sewerage had to be carefully considered, because it is certainly not an average situation. In good cooperation everything worked out, and they at Othmar, like us, are satisfied with the result. As Dirk Heupink says, "In the end for us the perfect picture."

Why Welvaere?

In addition to thinking along to find the best solution for this unique situation, there were two other important reasons for the Othmar Bierspa to choose Welvaere . Namely, the look of the hot tubs and maintenance. The wooden style fits right in with Othmar's image. Since there are several sessions a day, the inside of the tub also needed to be easy to clean. So that's what the hot tubs from Welvaere offer: "For us, that's actually the perfect choice in that."
