Filter glass

The filter medium filter glass is made from recycled glass. This is an efficient way of filtering hot tub and or pool water because the glass removes 30% more contaminants from the water than sand, for example.

Also, the glass stays cleaner and lasts longer. This is because it is less susceptible to bacteria because they cannot adhere to the smooth surface, if at all. 

We recommend replacing this filter media every 3 to 5 years.
