A swimming pool is generally a bit larger and expansive and can take up a considerable amount of space in the garden. This makes it ideal for sports and exercise because, of course, you can actually swim in it.
Hot tubs are usually more compact and therefore can be placed more easily in different places, including the smaller garden and even on a balcony or roof terrace. A hot tub is more for relaxation, swimming does not go in here. The warm water of a hot tub can reduce muscle tension, promote circulation and reduce stress. This makes it an ideal place to relax after a hard day at work or an intense sports session. The calming effect of the warm water can contribute to better sleep and overall well-being.
One of the biggest differences between pools and hot tubs is the temperature of the water. Swimming pools are often kept at a relatively cool temperature, to provide coolness while swimming.
Hot tubs are known for their heated water, which provides a relaxing and therapeutic effect. The warmth of a hot tub is especially undeniably appealing in the colder months, making it a cozy haven in which to relax while surrounded by steaming water. Heating an entire pool to the temperature of a hot tub is of course possible, but is very expensive due to the size and amount of water. Therefore, a pool is usually used only during the warmer months of the year.
While a hot tub obviously needs to be maintained, they are generally easier to maintain than pools. The smaller size and heated water in hot tubs reduce the likelihood of algae and other water problems. In addition, the cost of heating a hot tub is often less than maintaining a large pool.

After the hot summer, rainy fall, freezing winter and sunny spring, it is actually always a good time to service the hot tub. If you want to enjoy the hot tub for as long as possible, we recommend giving the hot tub a bigger service every change of season.
During such maintenance, it is useful to take care of the filter system. Clean the tub properly. Check the wood and varnish it if necessary and clean the stove properly. If you do it right, maintaining the hot tub really isn't much work. You just have to do it.
We choose to use high-quality materials so that you can enjoy your Ducktub for years to come.
