If you choose a Ducktub with Balboa system, the water in your hot tub is heated electrically and you basically don't need a wood stove. You can also choose the Balboa system in combination with a wood stove, then you have a hybrid Ducktub. Welvaere is the only one in the Netherlands that can make a real Balboa hot tub for you.
Balboa is a very well-known name in the world of wellness products. Many Jacuzzis are equipped with a control system from the American brand Balboa. They specialize in designing and manufacturing systems and components for jacuzzis and hot tubs. A perfect addition to our Ducktub hot tubs. A Balboa hot tub is very easy to use. A display is mounted on the outside of the hot tub that allows you to easily set the temperature. The Balboa system is completely self-contained unlike many other electric heaters. These are often connected to a filter or circulation pump. So Balboa's heater is a "separate" and proprietary system.
