Warranty

Welvaere provides warranty on all products purchased from us. As standard, we provide a three-year warranty on the products. First, the standard manufacturer's warranty always applies and we extend it to three years. This warranty applies only to private use of our products. For business use, other conditions apply. 

It is important to us that the purchase made at Welvaere can be enjoyed to the fullest. If the purchase breaks down within the warranty period, it can always be assumed that it will be repaired or replaced free of charge. 

Improper use of the product is never covered by any warranty. If modifications have been made to the product outside of Welvaere , the warranty on that part of the product will be voided. 

We are available at all times when there are questions about our products and warranty. Therefore, always contact us when something is defective. Our staff will deal with it to ensure that the wellness product can be enjoyed again quickly. 

Ducktub warranty

Our Ducktubs come with a three-year warranty. This warranty applies to the functioning of the product and with proper use. For the complete hot tub is that it stands on a level surface and is used for its intended purpose. 

Below we explain for each item how the three-year warranty applies and what falls under improper and proper use.

The Ducktub inner tub 

The Ducktub indoor tub comes with a three-year warranty. The three-year warranty is offered on the functioning of the parts. Not on the appearance of these. This means that the tub is leak-proof.

The tub has not been cleaned with aggressive agents and is handled normally as intended. Also, the warranty is void when there is standing water in the tub for a long period of time (from 1 month). The hot tub is best cleaned with all-purpose cleaner or a special product for hot tub tubs. 

Ducktub stove

The stove comes with a three-year warranty. The three-year warranty is offered on the functioning of the parts. Not on the appearance of these. This means that the stove can heat the hot tub as intended. 

The three-year warranty on the stove is valid under normal use. This includes use according to instructions. Explosion of the stove, overheated welds and implosion are not covered by the warranty. 

Woodwork of the Ducktub

There is a three-year warranty on the woodwork around the Ducktub. The warranty applies only to the structural operation of the wood. It works as a structure around the hot tub. 

The warranty does not apply to the appearance of the wood, wood rot, etc. This can be prevented by regular and timely treatment of the wood. 

Filter system

The filter system has a three-year warranty. This warranty applies only to proper use of the system. The filter system is used properly, (4x 3 hours spread over the entire day.) when it is cleaned on time via the backwash, the filter media is replaced on time and all electricity is disconnected from the outside air. 

The UV filter warranty applies to the housing and installation. The lamp is covered by the manufacturer's warranty. 

Cover and tarpaulin

The cover and tarp have a three-year warranty when used properly and it only applies to the operation of this not the sight. 

It is important to air the cover from time to time, open the zippers to keep it from getting moldy on the inside. And also clean the outside.

Wooden accessories

The wooden accessories are covered by a three-year warranty on structural operation not on sight. Thus, the accessories are not burdened with unnecessary weight and are used for their intended purpose. 

Wooden accessories include:

• Stairs
• Filter Box
• Side Table

Electrical accessories

Our electrical accessories such as a bubble system, jet system, LED lights, electric heater, etc. come with a three-year warranty. This applies to the operation of the system including the buttons. 

With proper use, the electrical elements are turned off when not in use. The elements are cleaned once in a while as prescribed in the manual.                                                                                                                                        

Stove accessories

At Welvaere there is a three-year warranty on stove accessories such as a spark arrestor and heat shield. Here the warranty applies only to the operation of these accessories not to any discoloration, this is part of it. 

Exception

On several parts, we provide a manufacturer's warranty only:

• Thermometer
• Chlorine float
• Paddle
• Hanging filter
• UV lamp

Sauna

Our Tønsaunas come with a three-year warranty. This guarantee always applies to the function of the product and with proper use. The complete sauna must be on a level surface and used for its intended purpose. If you assemble the sauna yourself, the manufacturer's warranty applies; if we install the sauna, we can offer a three-year warranty. 

Below, we explain for each item how the three-year warranty applies and what falls under proper and improper use.

Exterior woodwork

There is a three-year warranty on the exterior woodwork. 

The proper use of exterior woodwork is in the treatment and setting in the right way. Because this is a natural product, it is going to work. Therefore, these iron bands should be loosened from time to time, the beams should be knocked and should be retightened. Also, the woodwork should be treated regularly, once a year, with tar oil, stain or other means of treating woodwork. (No paint or varnish, as the product must be allowed to breathe)

Capillary action

We do not guarantee the capillary action of the wood. This means that moisture migrates through the wood. This can easily be reduced by treating the exterior wood regularly as mentioned above with tar oil.

Interior woodwork

On the interior woodwork such as the benches, floor and other parts, we give three years warranty with proper use. The wood cannot be treated and should be cleaned regularly with water or sauna clean.

Stoves

The three-year warranty also applies to our stoves under normal use. This means that it has been properly installed as advised by the manufacturer. It is connected to power and no excessive and salt water is thrown over the stones. With our sauna heaters, the manufacturer's warranty from HUUM or Harvia applies first. 

A HUUM stove comes standard with a 4-year warranty from HUUM. 

Installed accessories by Welvaere 

The accessories we install in the sauna such as sauna lighting are covered by a three-year warranty on the installation. For sauna lighting, a warranty applies only to the housing of the lamp not the light source.

Self-built sauna

Welvaere is not responsible for mistakes made during the construction of the sauna during self-assembly. Errors in construction or consequences of mistakes made during the construction process are not covered by the warranty. 

Exception

On several parts, we provide a manufacturer's warranty only:

• ladle
• Hygrometer
• Hourglass
• Headrest
