Welvaere offers warranty on all products purchased from us. The warranty period differs between private and professional use. Private use is covered by a two-year warranty, while professional use is covered by a six-month warranty.
Private use refers to the use of our products for personal, non-commercial purposes. Professional use, on the other hand, refers to the use of our products in a commercial context or for business purposes, such as wellness centers, vacation parks, bed and breakfasts, hotels, campsites and other commercial locations.
The warranty covers only the operation of the product and not the appearance or optical part. The warranty of our products that have been repaired or replaced under warranty continues until the end of the original warranty period.
Our warranty covers the operation of the product under proper use. Here is an overview of the parts covered by the warranty and situations in which the warranty is voided:
Products must be on level/level ground and used as intended.
Warranty covers:
1. The inner tub, provided it has not been cleaned with aggressive agents and has been handled normally. Cleaning should be done with ordinary all-purpose cleaner.
2. The stove, provided it is used according to instructions.
3. The woodwork around the hot tub, provided it is structurally intact, that is, the structure remains stable and functional, and treated twice a year with, for example, tar oil.
4. The filtration system, if properly used and maintained.
5. Electrical accessories such as bubble systems, jet systems, LED lights and electric heaters, when used correctly.
In addition, there are some important rules of use to maintain the warranty:
1. Don't sit on the edge.
2. Do not place stones or other similar objects in the hot tub.
3. Do not sit in the hot tub with more people than recommended by Welvaere.
Even on our saunas, we offer a warranty on the operation of the product when used correctly. The products must be on a level surface and used as intended. The conditions are as follows:
Warranty covers:
1. The woodwork on the outside of the sauna, provided it is structurally intact, that is, the structure remains stable and functional, and is treated twice a year with, for example, tar oil.
2. The interior woodwork, such as the benches and floor, provided it is regularly cleaned and not treated.
3. The stoves, provided they are properly installed and used.
For other products such as outdoor showers, pizza ovens and other wellness products, there is a two-year warranty period when used privately. These warranty terms are similar to the general warranty terms:
Warranty covers:
1. Product performance when properly used and maintained.
The following situations are not covered by the warranty of Welvaere products:
1. Repairs by third parties or improper use: Defects caused by natural wear and tear, improper use, or faulty maintenance performed by a party other than Welvaere. Different conditions of use that do not conform to the basic provisions, as well as choosing a device that is not suitable or incorrectly sized for its intended use, are also not covered by the warranty.
Non-compliance with operating instructions: Problems caused by using the product in facilities not in accordance with the operating instructions, or due to insufficient ventilation, are excluded from warranty. Always be sure to follow the required technical specifications in the manual.
No compensation for damages: Welvaere is not liable for compensation for direct or indirect damages caused by the defective device.
Third party modifications: If a third party has made modifications or repairs to the product, repair of any defects is not covered by the warranty.
Wear parts: Parts subject to wear and tear, such as UV lamps, sunlight damage, hot tub discoloration, or other color changes during use, are not covered by a specific warranty.
Wood-related defects: Defects characteristic of wood, such as damage from moisture changes, discoloration, cracking, and splitting, are not covered by the warranty.
Freeze damage: Defects caused by freezing of the product are not covered by the warranty.
If, during a warranty claim, it appears that the defect was caused by any of the above factors, Welvaere has the right to charge the customer for all work and material costs. Welvaere will notify the customer immediately as soon as this comes to light, after which the customer can decide whether to repair the defect, which is not covered by the warranty conditions. In such cases, the return costs of the product will be borne by the customer, unless the product is returned to Welvaere 's maintenance service at no additional cost.
A reasonable time for reporting a defect is no later than 60 days after the discovery of the defect. When reporting a defect, the customer must provide a warranty certificate or other reliable statement indicating where and when the product was purchased. The customer must always act to prevent further damage.
The reasonable repair time is determined based on the severity of the defect, the safety and reliability of the product, the difficulty of defect detection, the extent of the repair, and the availability of spare parts. Regarding software, the manufacturer's license and usage terms must be observed.
Modifications: Warranty is voided for modifications to the product outside of Welvaere .
Maintenance: If during a service it is found that the hot tub has not been properly maintained according to the advice of Welvaere, this is outside the warranty.
Improper use: In case of proven improper use of the products, the warranty will be void.
Self-built packages: Self-built packages must be assembled within one week. Detailed assembly instructions are available through our help desk.
Maintenance of woodwork: Inadequate maintenance of woodwork, such as the use of tar oil, is not covered by the warranty.
Installation Errors: Errors during installation on non-egal surfaces or during construction of self-assembly saunas are not covered by the warranty.
For purchases made outside the Netherlands, Belgium, France and Germany, a warranty period of six months applies.
We ask the customer to perform some service operations himself with our help. Parts will be shipped by us.
Should major parts be defective within the warranty period, we ask the other party to disassemble and send it to us. We can then repair or replace the part and then send it back.
The warranty always applies only to the operation of the product.
