Welvaere goes green

On several occasions, a small team from Welvaere traveled Welvaere various locations in the Netherlands to assist in planting forests. This was done in collaboration with Trees for All to make the Netherlands greener. We planted many different trees to increase biodiversity and create a stable forest. The wide variety ensures that many animal species feel at home here. In addition, the purpose of these forests is to capture CO2.

Most of our products consist of wood. And for the production of these fine wellness products we use FSC approved wood. The FSC label was established some 25 years ago to protect forests worldwide. The impact is huge because FSC focuses on nature protection, but also on social and economic added value. FSC gives future to people and animals who depend on the forest and is important against climate change.By producing our products with FSC wood, we choose the most environmentally friendly building material available.

Of course, our waste is also included in our sustainability policy. Both in the workshops, and in the office, we try to have our waste collected separately as much as possible. This allows new products to be made from it. Paper and cardboard can be reused up to 7 times. And PMD can be reused up to 86% as new raw material. We therefore find it more than logical to put our best foot forward!
